Six generations of moving Indian goods to the world.
Akarta Exports is a multi-product Indian export house and part of the Ibiixo Group. Sports goods, engine oils, food processing machinery, tiles, spices, dog food, wire nails, textiles and FMCG goods — sourced from India's established brands, inspected and documented by one accountable supplier, so an importer does not have to assemble a shipment from nine different companies, nine sets of paperwork and nine quality standards.

Positioning
One sourcing partner. India's known brands. One set of paperwork.
We are not a factory and we do not pretend to be one. Akarta is a sourcing and export house that buys from established, well-known Indian brands and manufacturers to the exact specification each buyer gives us.
An importer buying sports goods, engine oils, food machinery, tiles, spices, dog food, nails, textiles and FMCG goods from nine Indian suppliers is running nine negotiations, nine inspection regimes and nine documentation trails — and carrying the difference between them as risk. Consolidating that into one house does not just reduce administration; it moves the accountability for what arrives at your port onto a single company that has to answer for it.
Because we source rather than manufacture, we have no factory output to defend. That independence is the commercial point of Akarta: your written specification goes to the Indian brand best suited to it — on grade, consistency, capacity and price — and if a cheaper origin will fail your specification we say so before the order rather than after the claim. The brand behind each offer is disclosed to you, not hidden behind us.
The same quality department, the same documentation team and the same commercial contact stand behind all nine divisions on this site — from a mixed container of sports goods and lubricants to a commissioned 5 TPH rice mill or a private-label spice programme.
01
Brand-led sourcing
No captive factory, no obligation to move one plant's stock. We buy from named, well-known Indian brands that already make your product to standard.
02
In-house inspection
Our own QA staff sample against the agreed specification before a container is loaded, not after arrival.
03
Documentation discipline
Export sets prepared in-house and checked against your import requirements before dispatch.
04
Consolidated shipping
Multiple divisions can travel in one shipment, on one invoice, through one loading port.
How we work
We source from India's established brands — we do not manufacture
Akarta Exports is a sourcing and export house. We do not own factories and we do not claim to. Our value is that we know which well-known Indian brands and manufacturers make what, to what standard, and at what price — and we buy from them to the exact specification you give us.
01 — Your specification, written down
We start from your specification, not from a catalogue. Grade, dimension, tolerance, finish, test standard, pack, artwork and labelling are put in writing and confirmed with you before a single enquiry goes out.
02 — Matched to the right Indian brand
We place that specification with established, well-known Indian brands and manufacturers in the cluster that genuinely makes the product — Morbi for tiles, Rajkot and Ludhiana for machinery, Meerut and Jalandhar for sports goods, Kerala and Gujarat for spices.
03 — Offers compared on merit
Because we own no plant and owe no factory a minimum offtake, we compare offers openly on quality, consistency, capacity and price — and tell you where a lower price will not hold up in your market.
04 — Inspected, consolidated, shipped
Our own inspectors clear the goods at the brand's plant and again before loading. Multiple brands and multiple divisions consolidate into one container, one invoice and one document set.
Brand names are disclosed to you on the offer and named on the inspection report, so you always know whose production you are buying. Where a buyer already has a preferred Indian brand, we are happy to source that brand and handle only the inspection, consolidation, documentation and shipping.

Our divisions
What we export
Nine divisions, each specified in technical terms rather than adjectives. Every page below carries the grades, test standards, packing options and documentation you would expect to see before placing an order.

Division 01
Sports Goods
Cricket, football, field hockey, boxing and martial arts, fitness and racket sports equipment consolidated from India's Meerut and Jalandhar clusters — quoted against measured weights, materials and tolerances rather than catalogue images.
- Six disciplines loaded into one container and one invoice
- OEM and private label with print, embroidery and packaging
- BIS, CE / EN, EN 71, REACH and federation parameters
- AQL 2.5 pre-shipment inspection on every SKU

Division 02
Engine Oils & Lubricants
Engine oils in every SAE grade from 0W-20 to SAE 50, alongside hydraulic, gear, transmission, compressor and marine oils and greases — sourced from established Indian blenders and shipped with batch test certificates.
- API SP, CI-4, CK-4, ACEA and JASO service categories
- Cars, trucks, tractors, earthmovers, gensets, motorcycles, marine
- Private label bottling from 500 ml to 210 L drums
- Certificate of analysis and GHS safety data sheet per batch

Division 03
Food Processing Machinery

- Plant capacities from 200 kg/h to 300 TPD
- Motors and panels built to your voltage and frequency
- Works trial run and approval before dismantling and crating
- Erection, commissioning and operator training at site

Division 04
Ceramic & Vitrified Tiles
Wall, floor, outdoor, bathroom, parking and vitrified ranges from a network of more than fifty manufacturers in the Morbi cluster — quoted against wear class, water absorption and slip rating rather than catalogue photographs.
- Formats from 200×300 mm to 800×1600 mm slabs
- Double charge, full body, glazed and polished vitrified
- 20 mm dry-lay paving for terraces and roof decks
- Batch-matched loading for single-design projects

Division 05
Indian Spices
Whole, ground and blended spices bought in the producing states — Guntur chilli, Erode turmeric, Unjha cumin, Malabar pepper — with accredited laboratory analysis travelling with every consignment.
- Quoted on curcumin, ASTA colour, purity and volatile oil
- Steam-sterilised and ETO-free options
- Bulk 25 kg and 50 kg sacks with food-grade liners
- Private-label retail packing to your artwork

Division 06
Pet Food
Breed-specific and life-stage dry dog food produced under documented HACCP procedures — a matrix a distributor can merchandise, rather than one formula sold to every animal.
- Small, medium and large breed across puppy, adult, senior
- Batch proximate analysis, salmonella and aflatoxin screening
- Veterinary health certification and plant registration support
- Retail packs from 1 kg to 20 kg, or bulk for repackers

Division 07
Wire Nails & Fasteners
Round, oval, tack, panel pin, square twisted and annular ring shank nails across the 12–150 mm range, in bright, galvanised and polished finishes, sampled across the production run before loading.
- Six nail types covering carpentry to structural fixing
- Electro-galvanised and hot-dip galvanised quoted separately
- Assorted-size mixed containers built to your shelf plan
- Retail 1 kg and 5 kg boxes with your own printing

Division 08
Textiles & Apparel
Home textiles from Panipat and Karur, fabrics and yarn from Surat, Ahmedabad and Erode, woven garments from Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, knitwear from Tiruppur and Ludhiana, and certified workwear — bought against construction data, not swatches.
- Bed and bath linen in 200–1,000 TC and 380–650 GSM
- Woven, knitted and 6–14 oz denim fabrics plus Ne 16–60 yarn
- Private label with trims, labels, barcodes and retail packing
- OEKO-TEX, GOTS, OCS, BCI and GRS programmes on request

Division 09
FMCG Goods
Biscuits, namkeen and snacks, tea and beverages, rice, atta and pulses, edible oil, ready-to-eat food, confectionery, soap, detergent and personal care — sourced from FSSAI-licensed Indian manufacturers and consolidated into mixed-SKU containers.
- Nine FMCG sub-categories on one invoice and one bill of lading
- Minimum 75% residual shelf life at the port of loading
- Destination-compliant labelling, artwork and barcodes at origin
- Private label across biscuits, tea, oil, detergent and soap
Six generations have taught us one commercial lesson: a buyer forgives a price, but never a consignment that arrived wrong.

Quality assurance
Nothing leaves India until our own inspectors clear it
Akarta runs an in-house quality department with inspectors assigned to each division. Goods are checked at the factory during production and again before loading, against the written specification agreed on your purchase order — not against the factory's own grading.
- Pre-production sample approved by the buyer before bulk manufacture begins
- In-line checks during production for shade, calibration, dimension and moisture
- Pre-shipment inspection with photographic report before container sealing
- Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) arranged where required

How we work
An independent export desk, not a factory sales counter
Every order follows the same four stages, whichever division it sits in. The sequence exists so that problems surface in Gujarat, where they are cheap to fix, rather than at your port, where they are not.
01
Specification
You send product type, grade, quantity, packing preference and destination port. Where you already buy against a specification sheet, we work to yours rather than an Indian standard grade.
02
Sourcing & quotation
We place the enquiry across our manufacturer network and quote back with available grades, packing options, container loadability and lead time — with an honest note where a cheaper option will not hold.
03
Inspection
Our QA staff sample across the production run against the agreed specification: dimension, shade, gauge, coating, moisture or laboratory analysis depending on the product.
04
Documentation & loading
The export set is prepared in-house, checked against your import requirements, and the container is loaded to a written stowage plan with photographs on file.

Legacy
A hundred years is not a marketing line.
The Akarta name sits on a family trading business whose ledgers begin in 1910, long before container shipping, letters of credit or ISO certification existed in the form we use today. Six generations later the trade has changed completely and the discipline has not: buy on specification, inspect before you ship, and stand behind what arrives.
That continuity is why we can commit to a buyer's programme across seasons rather than shipments. A family that expects to still be trading in fifty years prices and sources differently from a broker chasing one consignment.
Akarta Exports is the export house of the Ibiixo Group, alongside Ibiixo Technologies Private Limited and Ibiixo Business Solutions — so the same group that ships your container also builds the systems that track it.
